Our Story
Clothing that carries a stitch of love
TAĀNKO means a stitch in Gujarati. Born in Gandhinagar from a love of slow fashion and the artisan traditions of India. Every piece in the collection is conceived and designed by the founder, ensuring each garment is more than clothing; it is a well thought out story.
At TAĀNKO, ready-to-wear doesn't mean mass-produced. Each silhouette is crafted with an element of handwork, whether that's the intricate needle-work of hand embroidery, the honest texture of handloom fabric, or the rhythmic repetition of hand block print. No two pieces are ever quite identical.
